Split Sphere

4-time JUNO Award winners Prevail and Moka Only are the Vancouver-based rap duo Split Sphere. The pair performed live as Split Sphere before co-founding Swollen Members, which resulted in Platinum certifications and legions of fans across the world.  

In spite of their multi-decade history and substantial success as part of Swollen, as solo artists, and with other projects, Prev and Moka first started recording Split Sphere music for release in Spring 2026. The initial Split Sphere songs are in the process of being unveiled, and they are consistently releasing videos on social media to build momentum for their new project.

Split Sphere’s musical output is lyricism-forward hip hop that in some instances leans into mellow golden era-reminiscent jazz rap with melodic hooks, and at other times it evokes the darker more poetic alternative boom bap that helped P and Moke sell hundreds of thousands of copies of their past albums. Split Sphere songs are likely to resonate with fans of the Hieroglyphics, De La Soul, the Pharcyde, A Tribe Called Quest, Freestyle Fellowship, and of course listeners of Swollen Members as well as their other projects.

Seasoned veterans with over 35 years of live performance experience headlining shows in dozens of countries, Split Sphere have played multiple festivals and supported Choclair on a Western Canadian tour this year. They will be rocking many more stages, leading up to the release of their debut project as a duo - decades in the making!
